Catherine teaches from a broad physical practice and deep understanding of how experiences can either hone or disrupt the connection of mind and body. With years of teaching and training in yoga, contemporary dance, Pilates, ballet, floor barre, Body Mind Centering, release techniques, and contact improvisation, Catherine’s understanding of anatomy, breath, and movement inform every aspect of her teaching. She also possesses a flair for metaphor and imagery, and enlists both generously throughout her practice.

With each class she teaches, Catherine aims to help students to feel stronger, more connected, more relaxed, happier, less self-critical, and more in tune with their bodies than when they started.
